Stability was always the myth.

Navigation is the skill.

A Different Lens on Loss

Most people are not afraid of loss. They are afraid of who they become after it. I know this not only from the work, but from the inside of it. I was born in Iran, lived in the United States, and for the past five years, travelled to different countries, each move a chapter, each chapter a version of myself I had to leave behind.  Identity loss is not abstract to me. It is the territory I have crossed, more than once, in more than one direction.

About Optimalives

Loss is Not the Problem

The way we understand it is. Most people are taught from childhood that loss is a warning, a consequence, a failure, something to recover from as quickly as possible. So when real loss arrives, they are stunned. Because they were never given a map for this territory. They were given coping strategies. Not navigation tools. Optima Lives was built on a different premise: that loss is not an interruption to life. It is one of life's most fundamental operating mechanisms. And the capacity to move through it, with clarity, stability, and psychological coherence, is a skill that can be developed. Stability was always the myth. Navigation is a skill.

What we do

We work with high performers navigating identity loss, the collapse that happens when the structure someone built their sense of self around disappears. Not just grief. Not burnout. A fundamental reorganization of who you are.

How we work

Through The Loss Reorientation Process™, which is a proprietary 6-week methodology integrating nervous system stabilization, psychological reorientation, and identity reconstruction. Not to return you to who you were. To stabilize you enough that who you are becoming can emerge.

Our Belief

Loss does not erase you. It reorganizes you. And that, approached correctly, is not a crisis. It is the most clarifying thing that can happen to a person.

About Me

My work began with the body. Over fifteen years of practice in Tai Chi Chuan, where I hold a Second Dan, and Qigong taught me something that no textbook had: the body tells the truth long before the mind catches up. Physical practice opened a door into clarity, presence, and the deeper architecture of how human beings actually change. That led me to Life Coaching, then to Hypnotherapy, trained under Paul McKenna, one of the world's leading authorities in behavioral change, and into the subconscious level where real reorganization becomes possible. Not just coping. Not just managing. Actual internal restructuring.

For the past twelve years, I have focused specifically on what I call identity loss, the particular kind of collapse that happens when a high-performing person loses not just something they had, but the version of themselves built around it. A career. A relationship. A role. A future they had already imagined. When those structures fall, the person does not just grieve. They lose their psychological coordinates.

This is not a clinical condition. It is a human one. And it does not require therapy. It requires navigation.I bring together everything I have learned,  body-based practice, subconscious work, coaching, and twelve years of deep focus on loss and identity — into a single, integrated approach. The goal is not to return you to who you were. That person belonged to a chapter that has ended. The goal is to stabilize you enough that who you are becoming can emerge without being crushed by urgency.

Loss Reorientation

A focused private session for those moving through Identity collapse, divorce, separation, relocation, career disruption, burnout —the kinds of loss that do not always look dramatic from the outside, but reorganize life from within.
This is not traditional grief support and it is not clinical work. Its purpose is to help you stabilize, understand what is happening beneath the surface, regain clarity, and function more solidly during a period of internal disruption.

Hypnotherapy for Inner Reorientation

In my work, hypnotherapy helps access the subconscious layers where old beliefs, emotional imprints, survival responses, and identity patterns continue to shape your experience beneath the surface. We begin with a focused conversation to uncover what is truly driving the issue, then move into guided hypnotherapy to work directly with the pattern at its root.
This is deeper internal work for those ready to shift what sits beneath fear, loss, shame, self-protection, and identity disruption.
Best for people who know the issue is deeper than mindset and want to work where the pattern actually lives.

Career Reorientation

A focused private session for those dealing with job loss, career disruption, burnout, professional uncertainty, or identity collapse connected to work.
This is for the moment when your role, direction, confidence, or sense of self has been shaken, and you need clarity, stability, and a way to function again. It is not career coaching in the traditional sense, and it is not clinical therapy.
It is designed to help you stabilize internally, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and reorient yourself when work-related loss has affected more than just your job.
